October, Australiaβs Breast Cancer Awareness Month, provides an opportunity for us all to focus on breast cancer and its impact on those affected by the disease in our community.
Take the time this month to find out what you need to know about breast awareness. Early detection saves lives!
Changes to look for include:
a new lump or lumpiness, especially if it's only in one breast
a change in the size or shape of your breast
a change to the nipple, such as crusting, ulcer, redness or inversion
a nipple discharge that occurs without squeezing
a change in the skin of your breast such as redness or dimpling
an unusual pain that doesn't go away.
Most changes arenβt due to breast cancer but itβs important to see your doctor without delay if you notice any of these changes. ... See MoreSee Less

Dear Wellness Sisters Friends,
On behalf of myself, Andy and our children, Connor &Chloe, we as a family want to thank you for your absolute generosity. Although I have an incurable cancer I still want as much time as I can to be here with and for my family. For your amazing charity group to help me do this, and try a brand new treatment is the ultimate gift. There are no words to express my/our heart felt thanks, but THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Whyalla is a lucky town to have you ladies helping local families with costs associated with Cancer.
With love always, Lorna xxxx
