The Wellness Sisters have a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. 100% of the money raised goes back to Whyalla people and their families who have been financially impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

What is the fundraising money used for?
We provide every patient receiving chemotherapy treatment at the Whyalla Hospital with a Care pack to help support them through their treatment.
In conjunction with Des’s Cabs we provide a taxi service transporting patients to and from the hospital for those cancer patients in Whyalla who do not have transportation.
We assisted with the outfitting of the x4 rooms dedicated for Palliative Care patients at the Whyalla Hospital which provides patients and their families with some of the comforts of home during their precious time in these spaces.
We provided the staff and patients of the Whyalla Chemotherapy unit with barista style beverages.
We provide financial support to Whyalla locals financially impacted with a cancer diagnosis. We assist to help expediate assessments and cancer treatments if finances are hindering these processes.

What fundraising events do you have throughout the year?
We host Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls at Westland’s Shopping Centre selling our famous and delicious Wellness Sisters biscuits.
In October we “Pink Up” the Whyalla hospital with staff wearing pink scrubs and a stall in the hospital foyer.
Biannually we host a Mother’s Day luncheon.
The Whyalla Football League host the “Pink Socks” round for both the Women’s and Men’s league. Round 10 in the Men’s league will be dedicated to the Wellness Sisters with all players wearing pink socks to increase breast cancer awareness and all gate takings for this round will be donated to the Wellness Sisters.
Throughout the year we support local community groups and businesses who run a variety of different fundraising events on our behalf.
